COVID-19 Office Safety Precautions

North Coast Psychological Services, PLLC is taking the following precautions to protect clients coming to the office for face-to-face services and to help slow the spread of the coronavirus:

  • Office seating in the waiting room and in therapy/testing rooms has been arranged for the maximum possible physical distancing.
  • Our staff will wear masks while interacting with clients and staff.
  • All staff will maintain safe social distancing.
  • Hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol is available in the waiting room, at the front desk and in each therapy room and testing room.
  • Appointments are scheduled at specific intervals in order to minimize the number of people in the waiting room.
  • We ask all clients to wait in their cars or outside until no earlier than 5 minutes before their appointment times to avoid crowding in the waiting area and front desk.
  • Credit card pads, pens and other areas that are commonly touched are thoroughly sanitized after each use.
  • Physical contact is not permitted unless it is between individuals residing in the same household.
  • Tissues and trash bins are easily accessed, and lids are operated with a foot pedal to avoid having to touch these surfaces. Trash is disposed of on a frequent basis.
  • Hard surfaces in therapy rooms (ex: door handle, tables) are disinfected using sanitizing wipes between client sessions. Common areas are thoroughly disinfected at the end of each day.

If you have any questions about these safety precautions, please contact your therapist, call the office at (516) 780-0111, or email us at [email protected]
